Just bought my first condo!

So I finally closed on my first property this morning, a 2 bedroom condo with my twin brother! Not too shabby for a couple of 23 year old Science teachers. I have been home for almost a year now looking for the right place, this couldn't be a better time for me. Batty, I have a nice tall glass of ice cold milk, would you be so kind as to do what you do best?

  • Now is a good time to buy,Buyers market for sure.
  • I'm having someone come in and do the kitchen and bathroom but everything should be all done in the next few weeks. This was a long time coming, I just hope I have room for my collection or my parents may get a gameroom that they didn't expect.
  • Congrats buddy.  I hope to buy my first home by May.  I can't wait!!

I've just bought my first home too, but the whole apartment needs a little home improvment before I can move in.

I'm afraid restoring the bathroom is going to dig a deep hole in my pocket.
  • MrMark - Congrats!!

Don't mean to thread hijack, but I've been wondering something.

Do you guys think the market will be as good for buyers in March of next year? I rent an apartment and am trying to wait at least until my lease runs out, but am getting nervous that the market will rebound and I'm going to just miss out on some low rates and prices.

Anyone here more knowledgable on this subject??

    Be well -

Good question.  I'm in the same situation as you, except my lease runs out in May.  They say the market is great for buyers right now.  I hope it doesn't change too much by May.
