Nine posts a day...and I thought I was posting a lot (average all-time of four a day, though recently I've been making a ton of posts, even as many as 40-50 in a 2-day stretch).

Nesboy, man, the point of posting is to make some sort of a *contribution* to the community; if a post isn't really saying anything meaningful, it shouldn't be sitting on the server and wasting all of our time... X 500... something to think about
People can still post alot and not be considered less quality. If I may point out two key people on this board, Dain and NGD, both have over 3000 posts and the quality of their posts from what I've seen is pretty much some of the best here save a few here and there. I don't see anything wrong with posting something like this if you yourself think it is an accomplishment. I myself am over 100 posts and I'm new but I would like to consider my posts somewhat contributive or helpful and not just "waste". This is a place where it is EASY to post in a thread especially since it's all about collecting NES and that's why we're here right NOT talking (or posting) here is kinda hard if you aren't a hardcore collector. Some are more reserved but for us talkative collectors, it's rather hard NOT to post But there is the flipside to where you can post random crap that noone cares about and it's all for post count.

THanks Neptune, and I dont just post random crap, except for this thread,I dont see anything wrong with posting as much as I do, and if some of you have a problem with me posting "too much" than maybe you should re-consider what a community is, I post when I fell I should add some info or make an offer etc I dont just post and go "wippu Yay happy!" Dain and NGD dont seem to have a problem with it, and they own the site.
Posting a lot is fine, I am just as guilty of that as anyone. I think he is complaining about posts like you made earlier today that just said "LOL" and quoted a post from Dangevin about a picture of a hand. Not much of a point just making a post that says LOL. Posting a lot is fine so long as you have something to add, whether it is a joke or your personal experience.
the longer your on here the more posts your bound to have. There are actually times when there are not a lot of posts and I have nothing to read I get really bored at work most nights
