Super Gameboy for the N64

I just remembered a long time ago they were holding some rather large pokemon convention in a mall by my area, and I saw the attendants announcing pokemon yellow. I noticed they were using an N64 controller to play the game. I got a closer look and saw that they had some kind of N64 game that was somewhat black and had I think the word "Ultra" on it. My memory is a bit foggy, but that game had pokemon yellow plugged into it, and was allowing it to be played on the N64. I later asked the attendant if they would ever be releasing that N64 Super Gameboy, and he said he didn't think so and that those things were only supposed to be used for this event.

I was just wondering has one of these ever surfaced on ebay, and if anyone has ever seen one of these also? I wonder what it would be worth?

Edit: After some research I think it could be what they call the "Wide-Boy64", and originally retailed to developers only for $1,400 a piece!

Although it looks nothing like I remember at all. This is a tall grey cart, and the one I remember was a darker black color. Maybe my memory is just too old. I mean it was even made by intelligent systems...

    I had about 20 of these wideboys. I sold most of them off and they sold in the 100-150 range at the time.

    I was very close to getting one of these wide boys a few months ago but the deal fell through. They are a very unusual piece of kit and I would of thought Nintendo would of released such an accessory given the success of the super game boy for the SNES (and with hindsight, the success of the gameboy player for the GC)

    I have to check. I gave a couple away to friends. I think that was the end of them but there is a chance some will turn up one here one day.

    Ever since I saw them at the convention in the mall I had wanted one. It definetely sounds like an overlooked rarity.
