I'd argue that making a post of opinion saying that someone should or should not post certain things is more harmful to the forums than someone just being proud and making a new thread because of it. You're worried about this place becoming boring and jaded, we're all worried about trolls and faux-moderators stealing the fun from people just trying to share a little enthusiasm.
If you're not enthusiastic, that's fine. There's dozens of other people who read these who aren't as well. So much so, that they don't even post about it.

The first thing you said was that the game was more common that it used to be and that a own thread should be made. You didnt say anything about it being a great find (maybe you said it later on, but not in the begining atleast). The way you said it, you said the thread wasnt worthy because it was a "common" game. I dont know if it was your intention, but saying stuff like this when people shows excitment wont do anything good. Thats why people reacted to what you said, not because you said the game was more common that it used to be because that might be true, but saying a thread isnt worth is a personal opinion in this case. I wouldnt call saying something like this as "having the guts", sorry
But i agree, i dont want to start a huge discussion about it, but i just had to reply to that.
The screen does a weird flashy thing. The zapper works fine, but the game looks strange on my TV. I am pretty sure it is a compatibility problem of some sort.

Its not cuz he is NGD its cuz he is just one of the biggest dorks here (Sorry NGD hehe) I could easily buy just as much stuff as all the "big dogs" here I make real good money but I don't just collect NES, I do so many different things, and I save money too
