I am trying to collect this "subset", CIB of course, but does anyone know how many there are and in what all region codes they exist? Thanks in advance!
Fun little subset. There is also Zelda 1, Mario Bros, and SMB3. The 2 Zelda ones are prob the hardest to find. Some of the codes are -NOE, and some are -FRA-1.
There's also Ice Hockey as well in NOE format. I'm almost 100% sure that I've seen a PAL-A ITA release of the Mario Bros Classic Series, so chances are more of these were released in ITA format.
EDIT: I found the scan on my comp and realized that I had already uploaded it here in the past:
They are the European Classic Serie games. It was the rerelease like we got of Metroid, Zelda, and Blades of Steel.

Metroid, Zelda 1 and 2, Punch-Out were all classic releases by NES. Blades of Steel was Konami Classic. I wonder if they had plans to do any other Classic's... surprises me that they didn't do a Contra.

yep this is the classic serie! released in 1993/1994 in France,Holland and Germany

to my knowledge,there are 9 games released with this label(see pic) Some of them are really rare Zelda 2 and donkey kong
i got all the codes if you really want them,These games are not know by many people,but if been collecting them for some time,and i have seen only 2 complete zelda 2 classics,and got them both(lucky you)
Most people will say,its the same games with mario sticker,WRONG zelda 2 has a completly different back,cool 1 too and mario bros has different controlls and game speed.
Funny,that you made this topic,i just wrote nintendo holland about these games and might get some more info.
But im so glad these games finaly get some more attention
