A few deals
I had a pretty good day yesterday. It started friday when my rock band 2 drumset died. I tried calling around local game/record resale shops trying to find a new one with no luck. My girlfriend needed to go to Wallmart to pick some stuff up, so I went to the games section. They had Rock Band drumsets for $9.96! I bought two, keep one for when the other dies.
Then we took a trip to a record exchange where I picked up Fire and Ice and 4 other NES sports games for a total of $22. (Fire and Ice was $20 and in really good shape)
Later a Nintendo with about 20 games, 2 controllers and a gun showed up on craigslist for $50. Pretty much all commons but almost all games that I need, and all but one game is in great shape...the one that is not is in the worst shape I have ever seen myself for a NES game. Bought it and listed the system with 7 games on Ebay, and seperatly a loose copy of River City Ransom.
The best deal came early this morning. A guy listed a PS2 (Fat) with a mix of about 25 PS1 and PS2 games for $30. He said the system had disc read errors but would play a few games. I took it apart, cleaned it, and it worked perfectly, so up on Ebay it went! The best part here was a very clean complete copy of Final Fantasy VIII with strategy guide.
Best part of all it was a lot of fun finding all of these games for great prices!
