Selling stuff on ebay (payment)

Its been a very long time since I sold anything on Ebay, and one of my items has sold.  If I click on the item it says to claim payment click here, so I do that and it takes me all the way into my paypal account but when I get there I don't see any money?  Also there is no mention of any transaction in progress. I have 99 feedback 100% positive I am missing something or are these people just not paying me for the item?  any help on this matter would be very helpful. thanks

    Sounds like your requesting a invoice thru paypal or something.

    On your 'My Ebay' page, under the Payments section, is it listed under received or not received?

    payment section?  i'm not seeing a section labeled just that.  if I click on items sold and look at the right to the actions nothing indicating money recived.

    Are you sure you're receiving funds via the same email that's registered with eBay, as is your actual Paypal account? Check that out.



    Usually when you get a "claim funds" message it means the payment is trying to go to an account that doesn't exist.



    My guess is if you haven't used eBay in forever, the email you have on file there is outdated from before you made your current Paypal acct.

    as far as i can tell the email address is correct, however I get some emails to my old email address. i'm not sure why? If i go into my old email address it say money is received however when I log into paypal theres nothing there?

    You need to call them tomorrow and get it sorted out. Likely what happened is you have both emails linked to your new account, but perhaps eBay's still trying to accept payments at the old email address. I had a weird transition from old email to new a few years ago, lord knows if they fixed it or if it's still confusing.

    ok I got it figured out, you were right dan. I added the old email back to my account and it worked fine and I got my money. thank you
