N64 Pick Up

Just picked up a nice local deal. I got all of the following for $25

-N64 System (Black)
-(2) 3rd Party Like New N64 Controllers By Retro-Bit W/ Slo Mo Feature
-Super Mario 64
-Super Smash Bros.
-Mario Tennis

Great deal for me I would prolly have to spend at least that just to get those 3 games.

    pretty good find, your right most of what you payed went towards the games, the system itself is only worth about $5.00 IMO

    Wow N64's are only worth about $5? I mean I guess if I were to trade it in at a pawn shop for something it might be worth that to them...what does IMO stand for?

    It's not too bad of a deal if you never had a N64 to begin with, but after you start collecting, you have so many gaming systems you don't know what to do with! I've had people give me N64's before.

    I had luck selling N64 with 2 controllers and cords for $20 locally.



    In the other hand, transparent systems are much more sought after and you can sell them higher.

    Not a bad deal for me. Smash Bros sells in the high teens or so, Mario 64 fetches somewhere in the teens, and Mario Tennis is worth about $5 or so. I always thought I remembered Mario Tennis being pretty expensive along with the other Mario games for N64. I guess not at least not on Ebay I guess.

    i sell super smash bros. on ebay for 20-25 alone,i say you got a nice deal there .

    N64s aren't THAT cheap, but they are pretty much impossible to sell unless bundled with a controller and game. If you sell them alone with cords then yeah $10 is about right, consoles only are pretty much garbage.



    I routinely get $50 shipped for a N64 bundle with all cords, 1 controller and either Zelda OoT / Mario (best games to bundle).

    Figure $15 of that $50 is shipping (well, really only $10.20 but that's beside the point), $10 is the controller, $5 is the Mario game, and that leaves $20 for the system when bundled together.



    Also, if you need an Expansion pak, I got 2 available, you can have one for $7 shipped if you PM me. Mine are the real deal from back in the N64 era and not any of that Chinese knockoff stuff you see on eBay nowadays.



    However, I only have one official "tool" and I keep that. If you have a flathead screwdriver, then it should do just fine in wedging the jumper pak out.

    I've got a Pawn Shop around here that pays $15 for consoles with all hookups and stuff so I pick them up for like $5 and sell them for $15
