need help for finding repair parts for my japanese famicom av toploader version? and where ?

    If the connector is shot, then I don't know where you'd find another one. And, IIRC, it's soldered to the board in that console. I don't know what you mean by "other repair parts" - very few things to break on a toploader. Electronic components in the power section are easily replaced (capacitors, voltage regulator, etc), but all are standard components available from any electronics supplier. But the edge connector is unique to the console. If it's shot, you might want to just look for another console.

  • If the connector is well and truly trashed, you can probably replace it with another 60 pin board mount connector. Perhaps you can find something on DigiKey or similar. It should be a standard .100 card edge connector... but getting one the right length might be tough.

    Honestly, I've never worked on a toploader that needed a new connector.
