PS2 help

Alright I have a PS2 slim silver (like the newest one available with powerbrick built inside) The smallest little bump will make it freeze up, I mean like a thump on the ground and I have to reset it. is there something wrong with it?

  • There may be some shock issues with the system. If you bought it bran new and you call Sony I'm sure you can still get it replaced as those are not that old...but they do have small issues with them.
  • When I get it fixed do I have to send it in with all of the cords or just the system because I think I don't have the AV cables still?
  • Normally you can just send in the system with none of the cables.  However you can ask when you call them.  They will send you a box to ship it to them in.  Their number is 1-800-345-7669
  • i would imagine there is an issue. my daughter steps/stands on mine while im playing and i have no issues
  • does it power on ? reads disc?
  • Ya, thats a weird problem. Ive never seen that happen to a PS2.
  • Yeah it powers on perfectly and plays but I can't move a single muscle or the thing freezes up :/ Did the request online because I hate talking to idiots over the phone so now I just gotta send it in and wait like 2-3 weeks with no PS2 image
