Paypal Help! - Claim

Hey, I recently purchased a game was dissatisfied with the description, filed a dispute/claim and won it. I know have to ship the game back to the seller, but I have a few questions,

1 - He is an unverified user, and his shipping information doesn't appear online. Do I just ask him for it, seems kind of shady.

2- This is what paypal sent me,

Please provide online tracking information by Feb 3, 2010. Once we confirm that the merchandise was delivered, we'll process a refund based on our protection policies.

That doesn't seem to guarantee me a full refund from the sound of it, or does it? (I am a skeptical person, so I may be assuming the worse)


I've returned items before through paypal, and didn't seem to have these same questions, thought I'd check around and see what you fellas think.

    I believe this is for a full refund. I just had to do it. I think they give you they refund before he even gets it back (once they get the tracking number). I called a second time (before shipping) and they sent me a free shipping label to print out. I would call them (from the number on the help page of ebay) and get the address and a confirmation that you will get a 100% refund. See if you can get that free shipping label as well.

    One other thing, if you wait too long to ship, make sure you call ebay before you ship to make sure you're still protected.

    You are entitled to a full refund, but they don't give the full refund before he get's it back. They withhold the funds from his Paypal account, but you don't get the money until he reports that he received it. If he's a dick and he doesn't report that he received it, they will wait seven days, verify your tracking, and then give you your money back.



    If you still have the packaging he sent the game to you in I would look for a return address. You can sometimes find is address in the selling details on eBay as well. If you can't find his address either place you'll need to ask him for it. I don't think the "verified" status means anything for returning items, just if he's buying something from someone...

    Make sure you use USA Expedited shipping. For a CIB game that'll cost about $15. It includes delivery confirmation. Without that method you won't get your refund.



    You may be able to use Small Packet shipping if you print the label online USING paypals shipping label printer.
