My flea market finds for Sunday Jan 24th
Well, since my wife wasn't feeling the greatest this morning I decided to get up early and head off to my local flea market. I left the house with $20 cash....so I figured let's see what'll turn up if I get out there earlier.
I arrived around 8:30am (a little later than I preferred to) and started walking the tables. On my second aisle I spot a Hispanic couple with some random junk on a table, a PS1 system and a PS2 system....but towards the back of the table I see a shoebox with some SNES games tossed in it. I slowly walked to the backside of the table and asked the man how much for the games? He replied...."Eh, how about a dollar each?" I about jumped out of my skin.....but contained myself, and proceeeded to pull every SNES game from the box...only to discover a couple of N64 games, and then 3 Gameboy Advance games. I bought a total of 11 games for $1 EACH! Here's the pic of that lot:

The games are: Donkey Kong 64 (X2),GBA YuGioh "The Sacred Cards",GBA Yugioh "The Eternal Duelist Soul",GBA Dragonball Z, SNES Killer Instinct,SNES Mario Kart, SNES NBA Tournament Edition, SNES Tetris 2, SNES James Bond Jr. , and SNES WWF Royal Rumble. The games needed some good cleaning, but hey, that was no problem for $1 each ![]()
Next I kept walking and stopped by one of my usual tables that sells games. It's hit or miss lately with this woman, but lately she's been in a good mood I guess and had some good deals for me. This time I bought : SNES NBA Jam and SNES Super Putty for $2 each. Not too bad, and the games were in good clean condition.
I stopped by yet another dealer and traded off 3 PSP sports games and a used N64 controller for 2 more SNES games: SNES Spiderman Xmen Acrade's Revenge and also SNES Spiderman.
I was on my last aisle when I spotted another guy selling random electronic BS JUNK. Upon closer inspection I spot 3 Original Gameboy games laying on the table. Now, I really have a soft spot for the old original Gameboy games because I played a ton of them as a kid. I asked the guy how much for all three.....aparently he thought that I looked like a sucker, because he blurted out $20. No way in hell I'm paying that, so I stare blankly at him then turn away---he then says, "Ok, $15" I stop once again.....pause...then say, "I might come back" ...he then stops me once more before I walk off and says "$10 my friend" ....At that point I know that he'd go $5 for the three games LOL. I walk off, fish the last $5 from my wallet (Remember I only came with $20 originally) and walk back over, pick the games up and flash the $5 bill at him and say "Would you go $5??" He quickly snatches the $5 from my hand and says "Thanks!"
Here's what the Gameboy games and the two other trades/sales look like:

Not a bad day at all....I left the market at 10:30am after walking it over twice......GREAT day for me....and my small but growing SNES collection!!!!!!

Nice stuff, nothing rare but that Mario Kart pays for your whole first purchase
Yeah, nothing rare at all...BUT when you're like me, and only own a handful of SNES games...a score for cheap like this is awesome heheheh
