NES USB Controller For PC

Hey whats up you NIntendo heads, I just picked up a nice NES Style controller for your PC. I noticed some on retro usb but they are a bit pricey. I just found a very similar controller with the nice classic NES controller look. Brand new for only 7.99 plus shipping. If you have amazon prime you can get free shipping or also get free shipping if you order over $25. I really wasn't planning on buying a NES Controller for the NES but it will be great to play the popular hacks without forking over big bucks for the carts. Here is the link to the controller, let me know if anyone orders and what you think of them when you receive them as I will do the same.

Here's the link

  • I already got one of those controllers but paid $30 from damn eBay, oh well. The controller is great. Even though I am still getting carts I bought a PC specifically to plug into my plasma big screen and downloaded every licensed NES ROM. I highly recommend it.
  • yea not a bad idea. I have an HDMI laptop so thats sweet. To bad you had to pay so much for one on Ebay tho, 7.99 is a great deal. I'm thinking I should have ordered 2 now image
  • Yeah definitely have to get another so I can kick my wife's butt in various games.
  • These are a pretty good price I bet you could even buy them here and sell the on Ebay, just an idea for someone out there.
  • You really REALLY get what you pay for with these cheap import USB controllers. They're about as worthwhile as cheap brick import controllers.

Best bet is still to pick up a retrozone USB dongle so you can use a REAL first-party controller (dogbone or brick) and plug it through bunnyboy's technology into your computer.
  • I'll have to see for 7.99 I think its worth a shot
  • My recommendation would be one of these http://www.retrousb.com/index.php?cPath=21&osCsid=e79ae5f7192df6ece09eff8dfefef0a3 sorry shameless Retrousb.com plug or a Smart Joy SNES to USB adapter..
  • I got mine in the mail today. Although it isn't a real NES controller that's been modified it still feels just fine. It's great as it has a 2m lead so I can lay on my couch and play as seen below in my sexy undies. I downloaded a torrent with every licensed NES game plus about 200 - 300 unlicensed games, so that's over 1000 games which is AWESOME!

The crappy PC I purchased for this was a refurbished ex-government one off eBay for $30. It's definitely a great idea as now I can play pretty much any game I don't have plus if my NES breaks I can still play whilst I wait to obtain another one to go in my games room.

So all up $60 & I'm all set!

  • Instead of a pc, I went the Wii route. The emulation on the Wii is f'n flawless for NES, SNES, and Genesis.

For someone who wants an alternative on the Wii controller wise, check out this guy's auctions: http://shop.ebay.com/infiniteneslives/m.html?_nkw=&_armrs=1&_from=&_ipg=&_trksid=p3686

    Pretty neat stuff.
  • thats awesome. I got mine in and have no complaints. The longer controller cord is also very nice.
