Star Fox Super Weekend

So i have a Star Fox Super Weekend Competition Cartridge. Is $300 dollars a proper valuation for this. the cartridge is in excellent condition. Also, would it be a fair to try to trade this for a Donkey Kong Country Competition Cartridge.

    More like $200-$250 (generally in the lower half of that). At one point 2-3 years ago, you might have been able to get $300 for it, and surely would've gotten a trade for a DKC Competition cartridge. Nowadays, not so much...probably more like Starfox Super Weekend + $100 or so for a DKC Competition cartridge (that's assuming the DKC is loose).

    i would hang on to this rather than sell it as it is much rarer than the DKC cart (about half as many were made), so down the line the value is probably going to go up much more. it will be like flintstones 2 was 10 years ago.

    I'd say the Star Fox cart is worth around $200, while DKC is worth around $400.

    Not sure where that info is from but to me it seems like DKC has always been harder to find. Worse yet DKC sometimes have Blockbuster stickers on them. PLUS the DK series is more popular than Star Fox so I would say that long term or short term take DKC over SFC any day if condition is equal.

    They really are strange games. The price has pretty much stayed the same forever ! Sure up a bit down a bit along the way but I recall buying and selling SFC for 200-250 as far back as 5-6 years ago. How many other Nintendo games worth 200-250 from 5 years ago are still worth the same today?

    Actually in reference to this, I have a Star Fox Super Weekend cart in pristine condition with a mint certificate. I paid about $300 and I feel I got a good deal. What are your thoughts on this? I can and will upload pictures.
