Bubble Wrap
I've been buying my bubble wrap at Walgreen's for a while now, for the most part because it's across the street from my house. I get 2 12" x 30' rolls for $8. I think it's good quality. it's Duck brand. Is that a good deal or no? I've looked on a few sites and there doesn't seem to be much price difference. But I just may be looking at overpriced sites? Any info would be appreciated.

i agree with james. I usually just use grocery bags for padding.
So a little more for a little less, but if Walbrowns is convenient for you then so be it, shun the evil empire!

However, there's ALWAYS a sale where it goes down to about 12 or 13 a roll, and then if you buy 3+ it goes to 10 a roll. So I got 3 rolls for 30 when they were on sale, and I don't think I'll be running out for awhile. If you wait for those sales, you can get a good deal on these. Also, it's a good quality. It's very supple and not stiff like those other ones that I see other people use in packages.
I used to use bubble mailers when I was new but I find the bubble wrap / cheap envelopes more effective. Also, if you do a lot of buying, you can usually keep any wrapping materials from the package. I use bubble wrap on games, newspaper with flat rate system boxes (newspaper is heavier) and throw out packing peanuts. I hate when I get a package with packing peanuts!!!
You guys mean I'm not the only one who buys cheapo envelopes then bubble wraps the game itself?

How about those packages with the crumbling packing peanuts? I sometimes get systems and games where I have to pick off little crumbs one by one.

why all this packaging stuff I just slap a label on the game and ship it
I wish you did that to my megaman 1.. LOL next time I buy a game from you I'm going to expect you to do this now.. No bubble mailer, no nothing, just the game and a label, OK?

DEAL!
Do you have a CRAPTASTIC Top Gun yet?
omg, that'd be hilarious! I could only imagine the look on someone's face receiving their game with no packaging, just a shipping label on it.
I'd be surprised if it actually made it to the person. The USPS workers around here would scarf that thing up in a second. Although.. then again.. most of them have no teeth and are very dirty, so they might not even know what it is lol
Would be a pretty cool test though
