What NES tech and nostalgia store owners are here

Hello everybody. I am thinking of being an online seller in Mexico's version of ebay (no, it's not called "El Ebay-o" image ). I laid eyes on stuff like Retrozone's fridge magnets and on nesmaps.com maps. You know, stuff that you can't find in Mexico, related to Nintendo nostalgia, or Nintendo technology like the Powerpak (but I would just start small with things like the magnets).

What I want to know is which of you have that kind of things on sale, or if you know any other store than the ones I already mentioned, that may be useful to me.

  • Is the general idea to buy stuff from these sites that don't ship to Mexico and do a slight markup and make them available in Mexico?
  • More or less, yes. I want to see what options are available. I told you Rick, in an email, that I was looking for a delivery service, and I found one, but it is too costly for just one of your cool 15 dollar (with shipping) maps. Maybe I can apply the same idea for several maps, maybe Retrozone, you, or someone else can have an arrangement with me, discount by volume (when I decide I want too buy many items in one transaction), or maybe you can send me stuff through other (secure) means if I promise steady order rate.

If storeowners don't want to look for alternatives just for me, it's fine, I'm already making calculations for the delivery service.

PS: Retrozone does ship to Mexico, but I wouldn't trust the USPS-Mexico Postal service connection for bigger deliveries: you already told me of your bad experiences image

  • Well, I do have the built in discount of just $4.99 for shipping no matter how many posters you order, so if you did a big batch you would only pay the shipping on one poster.
  • That's fine, I'll see if I can offer an attractive price to my potential customers. Thanks
