And then there was one...

Just thought I'd share my most recent rare find and the rarest and most expensive game I have in my collection and that will probably remain for a very, very long time as their isn't many games in this caliber IMO.

Its SD Gundam Dimension War for the VB. That leaves me with just one game to go to have the complete released set of Japanese VB games, Virtual Bowling.

Big thanks to shags2dope50187 for alerting me to its auction, I'll keep my eyes peeled as ever to return the favour.

Heres some pics of my VB collection

  • great looking sd
I will have that soon hopefully
with only 3 titles left it is getting expensive to be a vb fan
flashboy will be here soon also
  • Dude awesome score! How many Vb games were there anyways, isnt it around 15$ with 2 canceled ones? If they ever made a zelda game for virtual boy that would be awesome, but too bad the systems life span was too short for one to ever come out.
  • there were 22 distinct individual games for the VB. 14 US games and 19 Jap games, making 33 games released. The difference between the 22 individual games and 33 released games is that some games like Wario Land, Mario Tennis etc were released both in the US & Japan, so count as two game releases but only 1 distinct game.

Goldeneye was originally planned for the VB, thank god it was then transferred to the N64. The world would be a very different place if it had been a VB game IMO.
  • Holy Crap Goldeneye was gonna be on virtual boy, shit im glad that never happened. Do you know about Dragon Hopper?
  • yes there is someone on vr32.de that has a proto but wont release the rom
  • you actually play the Vb Im just going by rumor but ive heard all the do is give people a headache or make them sick

Well no so much now but I did do quite a bit when I first got mine 3 years ago, this is probably because I've played all of its games and theres nothing left in them for me now.

I've never once experienced headaches or sickness, I think this is just a lot of scaremongering by people who have never played on the system.
Its like all these people who "accidently" threw there wii remotes through the tv screen or window because the straps were not up to standard.

If people think there is a loop hole they'll exploit it.

I'd recommend anybody give it a try, sure its not earth shattering by todays standard  and some of the games are a joke but its not all bad IMO.
Plus its another Nintendo at the end of the day and we all love Nintendo right?
