  • awesome score man... if your selling i would ebay, due to the ways things have been selling on there.
  • If I had a few extra hundred bucks, I'd make some offers...awesome stuff.
  • very nice find. did you find this locally?
  • Great looking stuff. I take it you don't have the one item I was hoping for?

The Test Stations?  Semi-hard to say, the last one on ebay was NGDs I think.  They used to go for around $450-$550, but might go for a bit more now...there hasn't been one on ebay for open auction in quite some time.
  • I have sold 3 of them for 650+ if that gives you any idea. I love the test stuff image

  • I have never seen one of these in person. I imagine they can be hooked up to any television? Also, does it use a regular 72-PIN, like, can it be replaced easily when it wears out? I've been thinking about getting one of these for a while, but I want to make sure it'd be practical for my purposes (testing 1000's of carts per month)
  • They are great to test controllers, 4 scores, zapper, AC adapters, RF switches, ROB's, and RCA cables. They are not good for testing consoles or carts. It is not a stanard 72 pin, and can not be replaced. Plus the cart slot doesn't line up perfectly the way they are designed so it takes some wiggling to make the carts go into the slot. If you are wanting it for carts I wouldn't get it, but it you want it to test hardware then it is a life saver.

I'm pretty sure it uses a non-standard pin connector because you don't depress the cartridge, but then again I've never opened one.  I know NGD has, so I'm sure he'll chime in.  Also, do you have a link to the one that sold for 750$?  I try and save the auctions of all of these that hit ebay, I try my best not to miss any.  :-/
