At what point does this thread become unnecessary though? Everyone is aware of the situation, and I honestly don't think this thread is going to get money in Sjoerd's PP account anytime soon.
Chris made a major mistake and needs to be help accountable for his actions, that's glaringly apparent at this point. What purpose does this thread currently serve though? Do we need to have an eight page thread bumped constantly just to shit all over an individual that brings nothing to the community? If anything, ban this guy, take up a group collection for Sjoerd (I'll pledge $20 right now), and lets get on with it.

Man, sorry to hear about the troubles Sjoerd. I read through the whole thread a few days ago, but since I rarely post, didn't bother to say anything, but I just need to mention that I fucking hate assholes like Chris. I buy and trade a lot internationally, especially to Europe, so I know that things can be expensive, but that's no excuse to back out of trades, steal another person's games, and rip them off. This kind of behavior just hurts everyone - the trader who got burned, and it just makes more people not want to deal internationally, which in the end hurts people like me, who need to buy/trade abroad to get what they want. Sigh, what a douche.

Actually for the record, I specifically asked for quotations not to be used three times, but the cat is out of the bag now. I asked for a short factual summary, this is what we got. I did sign off on this so I take responsibility.
Perhaps next time the mod should do the posting and change the names. Then let others comment. As long as things are made right no one has to know who was who. Once your name is shit it is hard for them to want to make things right so you should really save that as a last resort. Plus I think other may be more honest if they don't know who they are commenting on.
To make it fun do 3 rounds. Round One. Post the initial problem then take comments. LOCK THE TOPIC and wait X days for things to work themselves out on the sidelines if not REOPEN ROUND TWO and post what happened. After a few more comments wait X days and see if it is fixed. if not ROUND THREE FINAL ROUND. more feedback and then lock it up again. Final chance for both to work it out or have their names exposed.
I think in this case this Chris guy would have paid whatever to avoid people knowing it was him after he realized what people thought about the whole situation. In past open forum discussions like this it does seem that there is a line once crossed they just can't/won't come back from.

He insisted I made a paypal payment as a gift. I refused beacuse he was a new member, and when I refused he went on the offensive in Pm's. After that I knew I would never deal with him, a complete asshole.
I have reading this thread from the begining, said nothing to the situation because I'm not involved.Didnt understand that someone ruins his reputation for 100$.I know Sjoerd from other forums and he is a fine guy, really sad to hear about the situation. So count me in with 15 Euros I just need a paypal adress. The best would be if I send the money directly to Sjoerd because in german paypal I cant find the gift option so the fees are not so expensiv if I send the money directly and not first to US.
