almost great craiglist find

I saw posted last night on craigslist. Nes system with around 100 games for 75.00. I called the number right away the guy said he still had the stuff for sale. He told me to call him in the morning. I called this morning around 8.am. He said he had a few things to do. He told me he would be home around noon. He called me about 1. Said he was almost home. I told him I would leave now. He lives about 40 mile away. I drive out there. I was about 5min form his house. He called and told me his son had sold the stuff today. I was mad. I hate craigs. That has happened to me a few times. I know its 1st come for the stuff. If he didt have something to do this morning I would of got the stuff

    That's a shame you missed out, seemed like a really good deal. Craigslist has a lot of flaws like that, but overall it's a really great service. Same with eBay. Lot of flaws, but still a great service. Wouldn't it be great if there was a site out there that combined eBay and craigslist, that takes everything good from both, and leaves out everything bad?

    I hate craigslist...i search there sometimes and have bought a few items...but overall it's been more of a headache than anything worth it...people generally want insane prices for items and when you post yours with reasonable prices you get maybe 1 or 2 people that are interested and then nothing ever comes of it
