Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt Super Mario Bros. 3 Tetris TMNT Yoshi
we had a shared system with my cousins that remained at out grandparents house and much of my fondest NES game playing was there, where we had:
Trick Shooting* Rock n' Ball* Mike Tyson's Punch Out!! (my cuz taught me everything i know about this game) Ninja Gaiden III Mickey Mousecapades A Boy and His Blob
I actually "acquired" a lot of games as i got older. neighborhood kids would bring games over, leave them, and then they would forget about them and move on to newer systems (the games often belonged to their older siblings). I even remember years later playing NES with a friend and he said something about really liking bucky o hare. i was like "THIS bucky o'hare??" and he goes "bucky o'hare! you dick!" i asked if he wanted it back he said no. it was pretty funny, we had a good laugh about it. if i offered all of these games back to their original owners they would say no, so i dont feel bad about holding on to them all these years...especially considering most of those kids were brats i didn't much like anyway
Well, it's funny because looking back on it I guess we had so many (not really, but it seemed like a lot), but this thread makes me appreaciate that I was old enough to be around through the whole NES era into the SNES era because I think of different games that we had at different times,
The original ones we had were like
SMB1
Metroid
Kung Fu
Zelda
1942
And then we added more like:
Mike Tyson's Punch Out
Blaster Master
Festers Quest
Godzilla
Tetris
Ninja Gaiden
Bionic Commando
Zelda 2
and a lot more I cant remember, my brother had a friend who had a lot of games that he would leand to us and then either forget about or.... I don't know- I know we got a bunch of his that way (wasn't my friend), although I got some games that way too (not on purpose, that stuff just happens)
SMb 2 ( borrowed from friend and never returned) Madden 92 * Madden 93 * Eternal Champions Mutant Leage football Blades of Steel * Tecmo Bowl *
* I bought these last two from a rental store, I rented the crap out of these games, they still have stickers from the rental place, the owner let me buy them after I asked her one day, or maybe she asked me, they are pretty special games to me
Mine in the order that I got them, all between 1990 & 1995:
TMNT 2 (got it with my system for my birthday)
Bugs Bunny's Birthday Blowout
Joust
Dash Galaxy in the Alien Asylum
