Hail NA!
**This is fantastic, fresh off the press with a VGA 8.0 + Silver Grade! Euripides is pleased!**

I've stood staring at it for about an hour mid-beard-stroke in appreciation... This definitely exceeded my expectations, as I requested a DGR to view the report. image Time for a mug of ale! <beer-CHAK!> Cheers!

  • i think its worth 800, but it would sell for around 650-750, very very very cool though amazing game
  • I agree, many a times have a thought of opening a game like this, but oh how that collector's blood keeps the restraint. I think I'm better off piecing a cart and manual together over time. But, with how great SOTN was, this is on the level in terms of a great play... for certain. Cheers and thanks for the comment good sir! Anyone have any other thoughts?
  • I'd say a 9-9.5 Sealed Dracula X is worth in the $700-$1000 ballpark. If it's in such a great condition, you might even get over $1000 from a crazy Castlevania addict on a lucky day.
  • I would get it graded image

    Any pics my good man?
  • If you are looking for maximum $$$, then get it graded first. and I'm not a fan of graded games..
  • Hmm, that's not a bad idea. I've seen VGA grading site and seems like a lot of hoopla. Has anyone been through the process that could say a little about it? Cheers & thanks for the great comments everyone!

Missed that last part. Yes, I'll try and get some pics posted soon. Believe it or not I keep it in a safety deposit. Indeed, I'm that guy <boisterous laugh>

  • Ive used VGA (as AFA) to grade an Action figure. Pretty smooth process - took about two weeks. They offer phone support so you can talk to an actual person. AFA brought the value of the action figure from $200 to $700, plus the tamper-proof case and grade look pretty awesome.
  • Cheers friend! My thanks for the info!

  • Bump, updated with pictures. Thoughts gentlemen?
  • Looks VGA 80+. In addition to the crease on top the bottom right corner in back is creased and another one is dented.
  • Hmmm, interesting. I'm been checking over what you've said bucky. This looks to be possible, although I'm thinking the light may also be making things look slightly different. Either way, I appreciate you mentioning this and it will definitely be worth grading if this is the worst of it. Cheers friend, many thanks!

I can't see how grading it would help much. With the finest examples it proves that you have a very mint copy as small flaws might not be seen in the picture. But this one clearly has a few dings. If graded the grade will reflect that and if you ebay as is the pictures also would reflect that.

I guess by having it graded you would verify that the seal is legit but the big money comes from not just grading it but having a high grade. Perhaps someone who sells graded games can comment on how much more might expect to get on less than perfect graded games.

  • That game reseal is fake, Walmart has them on sale right now for 20 dollars and a pack of Bazooka Joe Bubble Gum! Dracula X is straight up POO anyways, what were they thinking taking out the directional whip and moving while jumping in the air. Not in this GAME, you jump in one direction and your petrified in the air and hope for the best. If an enemy spawns guess what DIE DIE DIE! They should of called this game Castlevania LEAP cause all you do is leap to your death and you can't do a damn thing about it but pound your SNES controller with a hammer! I would say that game is 100 bucks if that, and I might give you 40 bucks with a 3rd party out of state starter check written in crayon if you only open it and let me read the book to you while your mommy tucks you in bed LOL! No that is a pretty sweet sealy you got there Ryan! That game does suck ass goblins from hell but its popular none the less and I would say its a strong 8, weak 8.5 If Dracula didn't drag his fang across the top side of the box it would have been a solid "9"

  • I didn't like this game for play.

From the pictures, I too am quite certain there is a crease on the back bottom right and the back bottom left AND back top right corners look slightly smooshed. They just don't look as sharp as the others. Good pictures image They reveal everything. I know with sealed collectors, that'll matter.
  • I remembered this game sucked. Are you looking to buy this for a collection or for resale?
  • One last thing, ever notice the dude on the box is holding up his "MIDDLE FINGER" he told me it was for Konami and to show his appreciation for being forced to be placed on this crap pile of POO CIB for all eternity!
  • That's not his middle finger. If it were, I'm damn sure that nintendo would have censored it.
  • yeah. its clearly the index
  • I liked this game. It's not the best Castlevania out there, but being able to pick your weapon back up if you get something else by accident was awesome.

    ROFL

My cat made it, he does good work. Yeah, the game's awful no doubt. What we missed in Rondo got made up for with SOTN. SOTN > DX
  • I love my Chi No Rondo for Turbo Duo. Great game, and playing it on the psp in Drac X chronicles was even better and worth the price. image
  • Updated with final report!
  • awesome man, grats!
