20th Anniversary Gamboy Micro -- FACTORY SEALED

I have a SEALED NIB 20th Anniversary Gameboy Micro. You can see the factory seals in the second picture below. It was modeled in original Nintendo Famicom colors. Anyone have a good idea as to value or an idea as to how much interest there would be in one of these?

  • There's one on Ebay for $200 new BIN. Looks like it would probably sell for ~$160 my guess. Great item!
  • On average, most sell online in the 150-200 range. I have a feeling that the value will appreciate in the next few years though.
  • There's another one with Classic NES Series Xevious for $150 BIN. Last I checked, these were still under $100.

Edit pre-post: And then I check completed listings and see these:

    $150 (sold)

    $150 (sold)

    $200 (sold o_O )

    $100 (unsold)

So I guess they are over $100 now for sealed o_O . Considering the one unsold was for less than the others, though...I dunno, maybe $100-$125?

Edit after post:  Really glad my parents bought me one for Christmas some years back...mine's still sealed image .
  • Yea I would definitely hold on to it. I have seen some go for cheap on eBay, but only when the seller didn't quite realize the value of such an item being factory sealed. Very nice image.
  • Wow that is beautiful. I say hold on to it till later if you want to sell it. I was in the market not to long ago trying to buy one.
  • I have mixed feelings on this one. They made sooooooo many of them. I remember seeing one in my local Wal-Mart just about a year ago still. I think if you leave it sealed it will likely retain its current value, however, I don't see it jumping hundreds. BUT, you never know image.
  • They were clearanced at most walmarts for $35.00 (the regular and famicom colors one)... I bought about 15, and sold them through amazon at retail ($64.99 I think was the original retail). All were gone in 2 weeks.
  • I'm auctioning this in the Auction Forum.
