Question for system resellers

I have a bunch on NES systems that now work because i replaced the pins. I want to sell them but i dont have any power cords. Anyone know of a good way to get a bunch of them cheap? I dont want to pay 7-10 bucks per. I was thinking someone on here is a system reseller and might have some ideas.

  • 3rd party ones are cheap in bulk

also i had a guy sell me some NOS power packs that were for some odd ball

thingy but it was 99% the same as the NES power Pack
  • Check your local second hand shop, ask to rummage through their bin of cords. The nes uses the most common AC adapter dongle. Anything from 6v on up to about 13v should power it just fine.

I habitually pick them up whenever I can find one for a buck, they're always handy. I put the replacement ones with systems and sell the OEM ones separately.

If you value the longevity of your system, it would be best to check the voltage and amperage on actual Nintendo A/C adapter, and only use adapters that match those specs.

  • ^^voltage you want to be around 9v it really doesnt have to be precise. It wont affect your systems longevity that much. The amperage rating shouldnt affect it AT ALL unless its to low. (in which case it simply wont turn on)
