  • yeah, the ultimate history is good - it goes over the industry itself from coin-ops in the 20's right up until Xbox.

  • I am currently reading the Ultimate history right now. Just got through the NES section, and I am only 1/2 through the book. Lots of good info and keeps my interest. Trust me, I am NOT a huge reader...and for that price you can't go wrong. I think I will read a little more right now...
  • I also have the Ultimate History by Steve Kent. Great read if you ask me, has many quotes from the designers/builders/engineers themselves.
