Action 52

I have the opportunity to get a CIB REV. B Action 52 for $140 USD.
Is that a fair price for this game?

  • not sure about CIB. I sold mine, which was cart only with the official sleeve for 70ish a year or two ago. not sure if that helps much image.
  • CIB isn't worth THAT much. Frankly, I'm pretty sure your loose one only got $70 due to it having the sleeve. I'd say $90 to $100 CIB with all inserts is about right.

90-100 seems low for a CIB Action 52. I got  the cart, manual, and sleeve for 115 but i also got an NES with it with 2 controllers and a gun and sold that for 55. so that made my action 52 cart, manual, and sleeve about 60. My friend got a CIB for about 150. The ones on ebay are all overpriced cart only driving up the cost for the CIB i guess.
  • The sleeve is where most of the money is though. CIB isn't worth much more than the cart only unless the sleeve is included.
  • I literally just sold cart and sleeve for $70. I've seen CIBs in the $125-$160 range. I'll be listing one in my Live Chat Auctions soon...probably with a starting bid of $100 or so.
  • I recently put mine up for sale for 160$ shipped.
It sold within 30 minutes: http://www.nintendoage.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=6&threadid=30813
    I think 140 is a fair price.
  • For some reason, probably all the attention it gets on YouTube, A52 is now a legitimate $80 loose game. It was a $50 game a year or two ago, then last Xmas it peaked at $100 and never came all the way back down.

Anyway, if it's $80 loose it's no stretch to consider it $160 CIB!
  • Depending on condition, and if it has the comic, $140 is a very fair price. Ive sold 2 copies on NA within 24 hours for this price. However, if it doesnt have the comic, I dont feel its worth it. image

Some people will pay $50+ for that comic alone!
