So I got this VHS tape of Top Gear Rally. The case is the same as the N64 (since the n64 label is on it lol) video game and I can not find anything on it price wise. Anybody have a clue or guess?
Those don't turn up too often, but I don't really think they're that sought after either, maybe in the $10'ish range. Does the tape work? I have a copy which isn't that good, it flickers a lot.
Hey Lee, you should have asked me about this, I've sold a bunch of N64 VHS promos. I see them at garage sales and in thrift stores sometimes...they were used in stores to demo games and also mailed out to people for free to promote upcoming games. The most I ever got for one was about $15 for the StarFox one. The Top Gear Rally one is probably harder to find than the Banjo, StarFox, and Diddy Kong Racing ones, but it probably also isn't worth much because I don't think there is a big market for these.
I do know that a couple of them (like the Conker's one and the one that demonstrates some kind of developer's tools for N64 games) go for a good amount and that they are worth a little more if you have the promotional inserts in the box or if they are still shrinkwrapped.
