They were pretty cheap, in stamps, if I recall correctly.
Were they decent quality? I ended up using all of my super power stamps when they had the NES game promo to unload old stock of a bunch of popular games (I bought Final Fantasy and the yellow release of Metroid).
Yea, they were very cheap. But so were the Nintendo Power Card books, and I've had offers of $100+ for the books that I have.....so I wasn't sure. Being poor quality, (and the fact kids wouldn't care to have a magazine holder) I would think not many of these are around.
Um, I won a lot of like 60 early NP issues for like $30, and they came packed in 3-4 of these, lol. So... cheap?
Thats because on the same page, you could buy issues 1-50 with 4 of these holders as well. I can't remember the price, but, I do remember reading it, and thought it was funny they were still selling previous issues, including issue #1 when issue 50 was released.
However, I couldn't see too many NP members buying the previous issues, so that was an interesting lot you won, and even funnier they were reprinted (unless they are old stock mags).
^^^ I really wouldn't be surprised if the magazines were using up old stock. They offered back-issues for pretty much everything until they changed publishers.
