Turbografx/Turbo Duo collection

well since most of us collect multiple systems, might as well ask this here too

I haven't play my Turbo stuff in a long time. I've debated whether I
should sell it off and put the cash towards other games I want. I've
thought it before, but always said "I'll never find these again" This
brings me to my question. I have a ton of rare stuff for the Turbo
Grafx(including a complete US Duo collection), I wanted to know what
other people though was a good value point on it.

Pretty much got a decent idea on the duo titles now, but boxed hu-cards have been harder to price.

  • I can't help a whole ton, but I've noticed in my ebay shopping that having the outer box tends to matter more on the high end stuff, whereas the $15 and less games doesn't tend to affect the value at all.
  • Outer boxes are worthless. I'll give you a buck for all the ones you have, plus shipping.

Seriously, I would tend to pay more for a game with the outer box. On some, even factory sealed copies are next to worthless, but others, the box alone is worth more than what the rest of the package's contents are worth without it.

PS - Shadow of the Beast is one of the best games I've played on the TG-CD. Play it if you haven't yet image

oh, I have played SotB. I was more partial to the shooters on the system.
  • Obviously...I mean the Turbo was pretty well designed for shooters image

Anyway, I'd be interested in a few of those games if you see anything in my sale thread you want to take in trade. I'd offer some PayPal to you, but I have a few people waiting for me to make enough to pay them image
  • on your HU-card games the outer box will only matter on D&D, Air Zonk, and Parasol Stars imo. Mainly cause the 2 dont have cd cases, and the ones is rarer. For the rest, as others have said, the out box is negligible in most cases +/- $5-$10. If you end up selling there are alot of your HU card games Id be interested in. Turbo CD stuff is too rich for my blood lol.
