x-men 6 player arcade
Scratches etc.... not mint by any means but in good shape.
I am not good with trouble shooting these. I could not get the monitors to come on.
They look really good though. Inside looks new and clean.
All coin mechs are there and look good.
If I sold it as is what would be a fair/good price?

As for price, they don't tend to sell for a ton due to their massive size. These things are big to the point that buyers tend to go for the four player equivalent. It's also hard to price without knowing what exactly is wrong with the monitors.
If you have the space for the cabinet, you'd probably be better off hiring a local arcade repair guy to have a look at the monitors and get the machine up and running.
Dude, that thing is sweet. It'd be perfect in my basement, but there's no way it'd fit down my stairs
It breaks into at least two pieces.

I would think a working 6 would be a little more
Anyway I will post under events and gathering tonight of the arcade auction I went to in St. Louis Easter Saturday. (pictures that is.) And under finders keepers I will post the PC 10 I bought there.
I posted this before but I bought the x-men at auction for $80. Was hoping the project 6- player x-men would go for about $200-$250. but will probably keep it for now. Damn you guys.

If you had a local buyer you should be able to get that with no problem, I'd think.
But that's the rub, tracking down a local buyer for a machine that huge...it's probably better to fix it, enjoy it, and then sell it when the right buyer comes along. Otherwise, you're wasting space storing a huge piece of equipment you can't even use...and you'll still have to wait awhile for the right buyer.
If I had a house
If I had a truck
If I had the money
If I knew anything about arcade repair
I would totally buy this. I'd pick it up too.
I'm in St. Louis, going on vacation saturday for a week, but hell if you wanna sell it let me know. Did you get this at the super auction in belleville? I didn't see it there. for $80 I would have bought it to try and fix it. I did see a PC-10.
This one I bought back in July 09' at an auction in Vandalia IL, Monday at like noon. They had about 30 arcades. I won this, Simpsons for $35 or so and a tornado table for $20. They had stuff that they could not get rid of and it went really cheap because no one was there.
I won the PC 10 at the Belleville auction. I was the one running around in the TMNT Green Shirt. My brother bought 3 games. (Double Dragon, Leathal Enforcers, & the Max Force/Area 51. (I also bought the TMNT plinko game for $10.)
Let me think deeply about the x-men. I am 50/50 right now. I know I need to let it go but it's so hard too.
Yeah, the size is the reason I passed on one local here. It was at a yard sale about 15 minutes from my house. It was in great shape and worked fine and the 6-player version for the low low price of $150. I just didn't have the room.
Man , I would have bought a working one for $150. Hell if even it stayed in my garage.
