Does this make any sense?

so I was checking this auction for the action replay for saturn because I was hoping to get one for cheap, but it ended up being sold for $51 shipped.

You can get the same thing new sealed from here for like $30 shipped.

  • People don't know that? There's a ton of people that just want stuff and have no idea they can get it cheaper elsewhere.
  • Yep there is stuff that routinely oversells, then undersells the next day. I can't figure out if it's shill bidders, or idiot buyers.

If everyone was smart they would do all the bidding in the last 30 seconds, and only bid once, and win something for slightly over what it's listed, but no, lets take a couple weeks and bid everything up to market price.

Sometimes I play nice guy and just bid what I'll pay days in advance and see if I get it. It works 1 out of 10 times. If I really want something and it's popular, you are required to snipe. One time I bid on something I was sure I was the only one on earth would want and it ended up getting bid up to within 50 cents of my top bid, I was fairly suspicious. Like someone had used multiple shill acounts, and just backed out the last bid or something. Weird thing is the bidders had all bid on the same buyers items, this ones and one others, that was it.
  • This kind of reminds me of the Gamecube action replays. I'm pretty sure they can be used for back up games or something, which is why they have a demand, but anyways the website they were on, codejunkies, discontinued them, brought them back, so on and so on. Anyways, last time I check they still have them but when they're on eBay they will go for way over the price amounts. Very strange why someone wouldn't do a little more research. Oh well, they're the ones paying more image.

Are you sure the one from play-asia.com is new and sealed? Says nothing about it being new and the picture is only of the cartridge. If that's the case, it would make sense - $30 for cart only, $50 complete.
