What is a New NIB NES-2 Toploader worth?

Sorry for making 2 threads in a row, not sure if that is okay or not, but, didnt want to mess up the NA search results.

Anyways, Toploader doesn't have shrink around the system, but owner claims it is brand new - it has the warranty card on the back.

What would the value be?

  • $140ish? I'm not certain, but if the system loose is an easy $50+, a really nice box should command some dollars.
  • I think $140-150 is the going rate for a CIB one. Like I said, this still has the warranty paper on the bottom, and everything is untouched inside....

Didnt know how it would fair vs. the CIB prices...
  • Which region console are we talking about?
  • *sigh* North - American NTSC
  • I think NIB copies are worth around $400, but I don't follow them too closely so I could be off.
  • A Mint CIB Top Loader should be worth around $120-$150 if this is what you wanna know. Absolutely nothing inside is in plastic bag?

Okay. Well, I may be able to buy it for $150-200, and didn't know if that was a good price or not.

Everything is in plastic except the box (I dont think they ever came with plastic on the box since the warranty card is attached to the back)- Nothing has been removed from the plastic...
  • I just bought a super ultra fantastic mint NIB one for $250 and rarebucky said that was a good deal so. I'd trust him on anything new/sealed. Also came with an NES atlas and a sealed NIB additional Dogbone.
  • ahhh okay, thats what i was looking for image So yours has the warranty card on the back still attached without anything written on it?

Probably a good price for a collection piece.  Might not be that great of a flipper.

Oh! Go for it then, you have a deal my friend.

Last one I had sold for $350 shipped. You could easily resell those for $250+ anytime so that's a winner.
  • Boxed units sell for between $200 and $250.00, sometimes more. True NOS easily doubles that price, but boxed doesn't mean never used. Sure, sometimes you can find some listed that sell for less, but this is not common practice. I've seen boxed NES-2 units sell for over $500, not-NOS and I've seen NOS sets sell for less than $100 from people that don't know their value.

If you want to know if it is NOS, check the cables. If they are factory tied, it's a NOS console.

    Dealer Price: Boxed/Complete: XF-$250.00; AN-$300.00 to $350.00; NOS-91-95(NS291-NS295) $400 to $500.00; NOS96-98 (NS296-NS298) $600 to $700; NOS-99/100(NS299-NS300) $800 to $950+++
