I used to be able to get on NA, half my time at work is down time. Any site with gaming or forums in the description now gets blocked, everyone can still play fantasy sports though, or browse ebay, it's so f'n retarded, the Admins just block stuff they don't look at, god forbid they actually do something.

The fantasy sports one gets me as well, people waste so much time with that bullshit, yet I cannot browse NA while on my lunch because like you said, any website dealing with video games is blocked. I consider this site to be pretty work safe, it sucks that I cannot access it. I can however get it on my phone
As far as arguing about browsing the internet at work, most people (at least in my office) have some way of wasting time at work, I think it is pointless to complain about those that want a work safe site. They may not be working all day, but when the day is over they very well could have finished all of their work. My personal favorites are the people who constantly bitch all day about how much they have to do as opposed to just doing the work and getting done sooner.
Oh and I like the mascot - but I will try out the mobile site next time I pull up NA on my phone. Didn't know there was one, and he definitely got in the way on my phone.
I to use a netbook at home sometimes and he is often in the way. Would be nice to set my personnel setting to remove him if needed.
Also, I sure wish I could check this site at work. The computer peeps have it blocked by the category "games" of some sort or something else... The real weird thing is that I can surf Atari Age at work. It DOES NOT get blocked, but of course NA does....damn my luck...
I have now gotten myself a netbook and he is in the way when I try and click on the links on the left hand side...everytime I try to get to my friends list it takes me to NA's home page...kind of annoying...
So there is no word on removing him as an option? I think the forums are going to see more and more netbook users...being they are so cheap, light and awesome.

I was going to mention this, but I was scouring the net for an easier option (like adding one line to a config file). I don't like installing things on pc's that aren't mine. Tweaking however, I do not have a problem with because the owner will never notice.
