Dont do it Dain. Stick with NOA. People on here forget that most people were a Sega kid or a Nintendo kid, and you stood by your brand. You can't have a Pepsi site and a Coke site at the same time either.
Maybe I'm just an old man, but I swear back in the day Sega and Nintendo were bitter enemies. I guess since friggin' Sonic teamed up with Mario in whatever year, things have changed. That's what I get for falling off the map for a decade I guess.... I still will never play a Sega console just out of old school loyalty.
I think SEGA admitted defeat and started grovelling at Nintendos feet. Don't get me wrong, I owned a Genesis before a Nintendo, but for some reason SEGA just doesn't have the nostalgic feel the NES does.
I am more nostalgic for the Megadrive but I LOVE the NES as I owned one also, before the Megadrive of course.
I think SegaAge would be a fantastic idea. Especially if it had a system setup like this one because there are no good lists out there to tick & flick off. guardiana.net has a great database but it's not overly user-friendly. Plus it's predominately French which sucks donkey balls.
I think it would be a good idea if Dain or one of the mods took over Segaage? Well that is spelled weird...anyway...it would be really cool to have (another) sister site, but this time one that more closely resembles NA. Would be easy to visit and navigate the two sites, if they were the same.
Somebody should do it..there are plenty of fans of the retro era that would partake in both...

id love some SegaAge. Not that you guys here dont appreciate Sega, just an actual Sega site might lure in some other Sega dedicated players and collectors. NA is my new permanent forum home tho. I was on neo-geo.com for about 4 yrs but NA has pulled me away. Neo-geo.com was very very active, which is what I enjoyed and other forums I visited just werent as much, except NA that is. AtariAge is a fun place to hang for a bit too, but Atari is just.....well.....its Atari lol.
There are a few sega forums on the net, but none are very good. It would be nice to have a true database. Personally, I love the genesis, but I love the NES more. Can't there be room for both systems though? Sega always had great games and innovative equipment, they just had miserable management and marketing. You guys ought to let up on sega a bit; after all, atariage preceded nintendoage. Hell, the name came from their 1980s magazine for god's sake. Can't there be room on the net for segaage as well?
SegaAge will be a clone site of NA, with changed theme, logo, and obviously systems. Other than that, it will be an exact copy of NA. When one gets updated, so will the other (code fixes, etc).
Meh, no questioning Nintendo's superiority to Sega in terms of a brand-name, but at least Sega had some balls back in the day. No blood in SNES Mortal Kombat and weak ass fatalities = lame. Sega had Splatterhouse 2 and 3. Nintendo has always tried to adhere to the young kid group and only recently started allowing more controversial games into their consoles.
