So I'm very new to NES collecting as I only started about mid April this year, and I must say it's been a blast so far. I stumbled along these forums and decided to sign up and nothing but good stuff on hear. Anyways I'll try to post updates in this thread instead of making news ones like whats so many other people seem to do.  So below is a lot I managed to find on craigslist for a whole $10, the system is a bit dirty but I tested it and it works flawless first try everytime. It will be replacing my old yellowed system, so I'm wondering what would you use to clean it?

    Doesn't finding things like this just make you want to keep searching for more?! Everything looks really nice and $10 is definitely a good price. Good haul, keep at it!

    The yellowing on my old system wasn't the only problem, It was pretty beat up and crack so I'm glad I found this one. I'm actually surprised how well this new one works, its a little dirty but I managed to clean it up.

    There's really nothing better then finding a NES game an only having to buy $1 I love it.

    dude. AWESOME find. Not like it's a lottery ticket or anything, but you got that for like 1/4 the value. These posts always just make me jealous! I never have good finds. Stopped at a promising garage sale this morning. More baby clothes, kid's toys, VHS's, and crap. No games image

    I managed to find the person selling them on CL, i pretty much check it everyday and when ever I got a minute on the comp. It's one of the better finds I've been able to get.

    *update*  May 25th

    Oh man you guys won't believe what I managed to get today.  I got this from craigslist and here my story that give me only hell weekend. So I emailed the seller for the lot on friday may 21st, the ad was posted on may 10th and I figured hell I wounder if he still has it. The following morning I wake up praying that he replied to my email, nothing. Sunday comes around, and nothing once again, at this point I had pretty much almost given up think that the stuff was already sold. Well monday night while I was doing homework I finally got the email stateing that he still had the lot, he left hes number and name and I called right away. I told him would be able to meet him after 1pm tomorrow, and now here I am with it all.  Below is the video game goodness, enjoy.

    Mega man 2, river city randsom, zelda 1, zelda 2. Lots of them I don't own and $2.50 a game was bad for them all, the whole lot was $140. I'm just cleaning them all up actually. The list can be found below;

    Not bad, I probably would have picked it up myself. Even better for you since you don't have many of them. I love digging through a nice lot of gaming goodness, even if I'm sitting there for hours cleaning it all, I'm in heaven. My Fiance' thinks I'm crazy when I sit there all night digging through my newly purchased goodies.

    I'm in college and my roommates are the same way, they often ask what are you going do with all the games and don't really understand why I'm doing it. I do however have a wii and 360 but going back to NES just brings back memories. Heck I've only been collecting for a month and I love it.

    Craigslist has been awesome lately. Congrats! I got a deal tonight but only issue is I cannot meet up until tomorrow. He was nice enough to pull the listing off, so hopefully he will stay true to his word. If all goes as planned, I'll have an amazing post tomorrow night as well. congrats again!

    Managed to pick up this lot yesterday off of CL, It was posted thursday night around 1. I was up doing homework and was about to  goto bed an decided to check CL before I went to bed and what do you know. I emailed the seller.

    Well it's been a year since I found something worthy of adding to the thread since my last find. I don't know what it is about May but it always seems to be a good month, using craigslist brings in one nice find this year. So like any other day I browse CL for a few minutes seeing if any good deals pop up. As soon as I read the ad I email the seller. As I get there I as a few questions like do you have any other old game stuff. The women tells me it was her ex's stuff and he had left it behind and she already went through the games and picked the ones she wanted, marios, zelda, tetris. The gamecube,wii and other odds and ends are just other things I found this month. Happy hunting!

    Goddamn two great grabs in a row with little time between. You're living large there. I've never got a huge haul off CL, not once since coming back out west. I hope we all score big like that eventually.
