Finds from my trip to AR

Was in Arkansas over the weekend for my nephew's high school graduation and had some extra time to spare so I did what any video game collector would do, I went shopping!

image

Toki, Bomberman, Nigel Mansell's World Championship, and Kickle Cubicle all loose for NES. $15 for all four games.

Sonic Blastman 2 loose for SNES. $3

Little League Baseball cart and box. $5

NES Play Action Football CIB.  $3

Operation Logic Bomb CB, Brawl Brothers CB, Mechwarrior CB, Power Instinct CIB, Sonic Blast Man CB, F1 Pole Position CB, Hammerlock Wrestling CIB, The Ignition Factor CB.  $40 Total.

Rastar Saga 2 CiB, Thunder Fox CIB.  $8 for the pair.  (These are in real super shape)

Lunar The Silver Star CIB on Sega CD. $4

3D control pad CIB, turns out it was the wrong controller in the box, just a regular saturn controller. $5

and lastly, Nights into Dreams, CIB.  Everything including the controller is brand new and sealed, outside box is open though.  I will be offering this in my for sale thread if anyone is interested in making offers.  It's in real nice shape.

Not a bad haul for shoping in a new area in an hour and half.

Aw don't hate, Little League Championship is my favorite sport title for the NES! There's so many problems with it but nothing feels better than hitting a homer into a sea of white folks while a flesh tone "HOME RUN" sign flashes. So awesome. In my opinion it's the easiest Baseball game to play and definitely the most fun. Anyway, excellent score! I've been wanting Toki for so long now! If you're thinking of selling it, you've got a potential buyer right here image

    EDIT: Watch at 4:14 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eyqwEhESGPM

  • kidor. is wanting the monkey game huh?
  • Oh, Im all about it. I saw one at my neighborhood VG store and went ape spit just like the title suggests. I wasn't about to pay the $18 price tag though.

EDIT: Actually, If you google Orrorin you'll find where my namesake comes from and all the pieces will come together image

  • ha ha , not too many cart only's for $20 bucks huh, maybe if it was a color dreams title it'd be worth that. i thought i had a toki box, but it ended up being a trog, Damn,

I'm a cart only kinda guy, otherwise I'd have totally been down. Thanks for looking! MrMark is selling a great looking sealed copy for $45 in his FS thread (http://www.nintendoage.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=6&threadid=33415&keyword1=rare%20protos%20for%20sale). Sorry to steer away from the OP's original intent in this thread, I'll discuss my WTB stuff in my own thread sometime!
  • Toki is not for sell, going in my collection. I actually almost missed it when shopping, found it on my 3rd scan of the NES carts, store had about 300 carts.
  • I have at work put in the back A toki going ape spit CIB  lolol love the title. but its sega hahaha
  • Well, thought I would bump this thread up and share with you guys my latest finds in AR where my nephew's live:
