Anyone can also buy a normal copy and paint it gold for a much cheaper price. Its all about a person's morals.

Its amazing how "NA tourists" stop in to pick something up they want, only to leave the community with the item, leaving us with one less image

Hence, perfect, and the repro that was found in Canada.

Anyways , good luck to all. This has been fun to watch image

well i own that repro now, so it is still in "our" community image.  i don't think this is such a problem though.

Haha awesome you ended up with it image I just enjoy I guess seeing NA release items only stay on NA, and watch it change hands between NA members. (Especially watching the LE Homebrew/Repro thread) Eh, maybe im just biased to this forum image
  • nothing ever changes hands with me! if i get it, it never goes anywhere! image unless of course it is not #33 and there is a #33 out there somewhere. in that case, i will track that #33 son of a bitch down at all costs and trade my #d copy for it, even if it means importing it back here from belgium! image
  • And now a special bonus for just the single top bidder, a prototype!  This is the first version of the board which is completely different from the production version.  I cut up a standard SNES case for it to fit inside and the chips stick out far.  It runs through to the end, but almost certainly has some bugs like the timer won't end until you die in Pilotwings.  Obviously that means you can't use it for the high score contest  image

  • Thats an evil, evil enticement BB.
  • That right there is nice. Gold cart and prototype? Who else is going to bid on these?
  • $200- kramernation

  • WTF, I think that there should be a post limit on who can bid. I know that I am new here and I also wont be bidding on it. I see that there are about 2 or 3 bidders here that have less than 10 posts combined, and they are bidding. Bunch of creeps.

Now see how is that fair to the seller.  It's up to the seller to determine who can and can't bid.  Nothing was stated in the original post, so why shouldn't new members be allowed?  As long as they pay, why should their money be considered any less important then yours or mine?  This is a SNES item and it was bound to draw interest from some non-NA member collectors.

I, myself, can not afford to bid, but good luck to all, including the seller!
  • ^x2 if they don't pay, it'll just go back on sale. But us poor folk are left out as always, LOL

Love those tusky stickers, sexy!  But I'm still broke.
  • Additionally the current top bidder has bought one of almost everything in my store, so why should he be excluded? Post spamming is easy so any artificial limit would quickly be overcome.

And those are Sealie stickers, not Tusks image

    Shit, I must be blind...

If I bid 300, can you pencil in some tusks on the seals? I'm really fond of tusks.

....I'm joking obviously so don't take me seriously, I'm still broke

  • Awe crap I have been outbid... Well I guess I will have to wait for Retrousb. I am making this game the competition cart for my annual New Years Eve competition. Two years ago the competition was the  1990 NES cart and this past year it  was my refinished Punch-Out!! arcade machine. After you watch the video, I think you will agree that I am a worthy bidder lol image

  • Damn. More people coming out of the woodwork. I'm gonna sit this one out, and wait for the boys at RetroUSB.
  • How much are the regular ones gonna cost at retrousb.com? And is there going to be a NA discount?

A stab in the dark, but I'm gonna guess around the price of the NES-NCC or less. Just a pure guess on my part, but it would be nice to know b4 they go up image
