Recently, I was one of the higher bidders on bunnyboy's gold Airball auction, having bid as high as $201 in hopes of securing an elusive gold copy of that game. Admittedly, I wasn't too upset at having not won it, as the money would probably have went into other NES games or some other stuff. But a couple days after the auction ended, I received a second-chance offer from bunnyboy, stating that if I still wanted a gold Airball, I could have it for my bid price. I was about to accept it through eBay, but then the auction was pulled, so that night when I was in chat, bunnyboy and I ironed out the details for me to purchase that gold Airball. Well...it's here... image .

    I'm glad for your win but I can't help but feel bad for BP's auction, I wonder if the trash-talking in the auctions thread didn't have something to do with it.



    I mean, we've proven before that these threads directly affect prices in a positive way, it can certainly work both ways.

    Honestly, I think the clear cart that it comes in looks 1000 times better, but I can understand wanting it because its different.

    I'm still a bit confused, why didn't this end up with Sara? I just re-read the inital auction thread, but the last thing said was that it got pulled but was in transit. What ended up happening?

    Now if I could only find my label machine...I'd put a label on the box protector to differentiate this from the gray Airball I already own image .

    ^ 'Tis the one thing that sucks about extremely limited releases: not everyone that wants one gets it. I hope for your sake, NGD, that someone hooks you up at a decent price image .
