Odd and Awesome Craigslist find
Just got a hell of a deal off Craigslist. It was a vague ad listed as
selling a Game Boy (original) with a few games; BUT at the bottom he
mentioned "will be selling NES collection soon too" So of course I had
to send an email...
Long story short, he sent me a list of the games, I offered $100, he
accepted and I picked it up...
Here is what I got!
NES
Little Nemo - Dream Master
Excitebike
Rampage
Karate Kid
Simpsons - Bart v. Space Mutants
Ski or Die
Wrestlemania
Narc
Contra (x2)
Willow
Air Fortress (label pretty much destroyed)
Mickey Mousecapade
Major League Baseball
Friday the 13th
Super Off Road
Super Mario 2
Dr. Chaos
Bubble Bobble
River City Ransom
Jordan v. Bird One on One
Ice Hockey
Paperboy
Zelda
Double Dragon
Three Stooges
Mario/Duck Hunt
Blaster Master
Lone Ranger
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Castlevania
Legend of Kage
Tiger Heli
Metal Gear
The Battle of Olympus
Fester's Quest
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles The Arcade Game
Duck Tales
Ninja Gaiden
Marble Madness
Super Mario 3
Maniac Mansion
Double Dragon 2
Gauntlet 2
Rygar
Skate or die
Two regular controllers
Grey Zapper Gun
Video Cable + Power Supply
Game Genie
Game Boy Games + 2 Hard Carrying Cases + 2 Original Systems
Altered Space
The Little Mermaid
The Sword of Hope
Tetris (x2)
Super Mario Land
TMNT: Fall of the Foot Clan
Dr. Mario
Fist of the North Star
Kwirk
Batman
Barbie Game Girl
Pokemon Red
Game Boy Light
Link Cable
THEN! If all that (46 NES Games + wires AND [2] Game Boys + 13games +
[2] hard cases and accessories) wasn't enough!! He said "I will throw
in some other extra nintendo junk I have" Ok then...
Here is the Junk...
SNES Games
Street Fighter II
TMNT Turtles in Time
SUper Mario World
Pilot Wings
Final Fight
Home Alone
and get this... CHRONO TRIGGER (loose but MINT)
and finally Mario Kart Double Dash
I will take this "junk" any day!!!
** The most rewarding part may be the fact that other people turned him
down or were debating because some of the NES games have his last name
on the side (which easily came off with a Mr. Clean Magic
Eraser)...little did they know he was going to throw in some awesome
extras!

Nice! That is alittle odd
Edited for grammer
Um ya I overpay for stuff....
yeah posts like this make me feel the same way. I'm about to pick up a CL lot of 26 (24?) NES games for $40, but it's all commons, and even a few dups (3 copies of some variation of SMB... with/without Duck Hunt, etc.).. I doubt I'll make half of it back by selling the half of the lot I don't need.
I realized after making the deal that it wasn't as good as I initially thought, and I could probably pick up all of these games for the same price at the local used game shop, which would support a fellow classic game enthusiast. Whatev
