My gameroom is now complete...
So I normally don't get on Craigslist cause I have a tendency to spend money I don't have on things I really don't need but it just so happens that today lady luck was smiling on me and I was able to score this original World of Nintendo sign for very very cheap. The lady I spoke with said her husband brought it home probably around 10 or so years ago and its been in her house since. She said she was moving soon and would rather not take it with her so I made her an offer she couldn't refuse...plus I live really close to her so it was no problem picking it up. I'm not really sure what is worth but its in amazing shape considering the age. I couldn't find any manufacturing dates on it but it does have a sticker that says Super Brite Series and a model number of M36N. I'm guessing its 36 inches wide by 6 or 6.5 inches deep. I was planning on cleaning it up this weekend and was wondering if any of you that own similar signs know what I can use to clean the front. I didn't want to use window cleaner cause of the abrasives but I have a brand new microfiber towel and I thought I could use some wax or something like that...any ideas? Anyway, here are some of the pictures...

How much did you score it for?
Lol there are like 3 of us that asked, and the OP wont tell us
These signs are so sweet tho. I agree with the others, we don't know how good of a find it is if we don't know how much you paid! No obligation!
Hey everyone, sorry it took me so long to respond to this posting...my holiday weekend has been very eventful and I haven't been on the computer in a couple of days...I hope you guys had a safe and happy weekend too!
Good deal! My guy was asking $230 but had just serviced it with new bulbs inside and it's basically mint condition, so we settled at $200. I was afraid to let it sit too long, and secured that deal within less than an hour of him listing it. I think you got a great deal my man! I'd of scooped that up in a second - even though I already have one. Soap and water should be a safe bet. Dish soap maybe? I wouldn't use anything harsh on it - you could possibly cloud the plastic side, and you most certainly don't want to remove any paint off of the painted side either. (I'm assuming yours has a painted side like mine does too?) I'm glad I got the sign without the seal of quality, it's a shame how much they shrunk the text over plopping on that little seal! They really were all about that seal though back in when they made it an oval..... damn, I have such intense memories of the late 80's / early 90's Nintendo days!
