Just beat my repro copy of Sweet Home. It's one helluva awesome game and the style and depth really suprised me. It's almost like someone made a scaled down Resident Evil and in some ways it's even better.

The most recent beaten non-NES game was Blaster Master Overdrive. Awesome game! I also really like Blaster Master for the NES. There was one thing I didn't like with Overdrive. It was the way how you switch weapon.
Disney's Aladdin on the Sega Mega Drive. So much better and longer game that it's SNES counterpart. Music was true to the original score and sound effects were good. The biggest neg thing about this was too easy bosses. You could easily beat every boss without taking a hit once.
Thor, it took weeks of torture, bad path finding, lagging, level grinding and major annoyance to get it done.
Not worth it and never again.
No way. I'm currently on my third playthrough. Just got the tree to tell me she's my mom and that my father was incapable of taking care of his family and I'm on my way to the Mana Fortress to cry my heart out.
I was thinking of finishing it off today, but now you kind of ruined the awesomeness of this game.
On the other note: I beat Red Dead Redemption a few days ago. Good fun.

haha just beat legend of mana yesterday but so far this year beat final fantasy 9, resident evil 4, Heavy rain, super mario world, donkey kong country, rugrats ps1, oddworld. next im going for Kingdom Hearts
let me think about this...I beat Bio Shock 2, Resident Evil 5, Dead Space, hmm...maybe a few more I can't think of at the moment. It's hard for me to find enough time to beat a game all the way through. I usually play a game for like an hour or so at a time. Oh, I got like 50 hours racked up online for Call of Duty MW2, but I haven't even passed like the 2nd level in the actual game. haha. I'm currently playing through Mini Ninjas.
Just polished off Clive Barker's Jericho (360) and got all the achievements in one go as well. Quick and easy 1K, and a fun game on top of it. Definitely worth $10 shipped new. Only complaint is the ending, or rather the lack of an ending. You kill the end boss, run out of the cave, and scroll credits...not even a simple "The End" message...bullshit I tells ya!

This was an incredibly good game. Aside from Okami, I would say this is easily the best game I've played on the Wii. It's gameplay is similiar to to Pikmin, but with more real time strategy and RPG elements thrown into the mix.
It's kind of hard to nail down what it was about this game that I found so appealing. When it comes down to it, the game is just a lot of fun to play. It's very non-linear once you get a little ways into it and gives you the freedom to explore the world in pretty much whatever order you want.
The boss fights are all very unique and very cool. Each one is a neighboring king that you need to defeat in order to expand your territory and every one of them requires a unique strategy to defeat.
In general, I'm not a fan of RTS games, but I think this one had just the right amount of RTS elements to create a near perfect scenario. Instead of building whatever buildings and weapons and such that you want (money not withstanding) you have a set to choose from in each area that you take over. You expand your kingdom at your will until it is complete. The large list of job classes (20) leaves you with a lot of strategic choices on what classes you want to make more people for and who to take out on missions.
As usual, I don't like to post spoilers, but I will say that the ending was at the same time very obvious and very surprising. That might not make sense now, but if you play through it will.
I'd recommend this game to just about anyone. If you liked Pikmin at all, then I'd definitely recomment it. Though Pikmin's controls are a bit better I really enjoyed the reminiscent feeling I got while playing. From what I understand, this one flew under the radar of a lot of people and ended up not selling all that well, which is a real shame. If you get the chance, do yourself a favor and pick this one up.
I just played Shadow Hearts PS2 and it was amazing. The story was great. I love button pressing rpgs as paper mario got me hooked on that style. Am playing Covenant now and need to find the third part soon.
