I've tried again today, attempting to login about 50 different ways, with no luck.
The other issue is that they changed how the usernames appear. At first it was the email address without any punctuation, like "nameatdomaincom", then they changed it to email address, then to just an arbitrary value. The problem is that when they did that (each time), they completely boot fucked the existing users, including paid accounts. Talk about a bunch of rookies. In my business, that would get me fired and then sued!
No problem! I will start using in-chat name changes so there's room for my full username and then _work/_afk. Good idea! There was some random folks coming in as "tanik" one time, and it was quite annoying.
I think tinychat is great. The discussion in there lately has been crap, but the service itself is great. The webcam feature is the only reason I brought Tinychat to NA in the first place. I think it's 1000x better than any of the chatrooms we've used in the past.
If there were a way to natively implement NA usernames into Tinychat, it would be amazing, but that isn't a possibility unless Dain coded it from scratch.
So just enjoy it for what it is. And if you find something better, bring it here. But webcam feature is the standard now.
I enjoy being able to broadcast live NES gameplay to the room, and I'm sure I've entertained quite a few bored souls in the process.
I was thinking about doing a gaming night where I pick a certain time and try to conquer a game in one sitting. Doing it at a set time like Wednesdays at 9pm or something. Idk. Im lazy.

Now tineychat posts advertisments every ten minutes? Man does this get annoying...owell... Anybody find anything new and better yet?
Honestly Matt, you seem to be the one most bothered by Tinychat, so you see an ad every few minutes, is that really the end of the world? I've asked this before, and I'll ask again, Matt can you find a better free chat program? Others aren't looking because no one else is bothered by it. So you see an ad, it beats paying for chat, and what's the harm?
I have been looking for a new chat room, but can't find anything better yet. I am going to install that adblock plus too...if it works for everybody else's firefox, sweet...then we won't have to find a new one. From what i hear...this one is much better than what you had before?

I like the chatroom a lot, but the ads are annoying. I need to use adblock.
It really does work,and blocks all those ads on the websites you visit also.
