90 loose NES games
My ad in the bulletin board has been getting alot of attention from local people looking to get rid of games. About 4 hours ago I got a call from a guy with 90 cartridges, a top loader, a power pad and 3 zappers. He's asking 400 bucks for it all and to be honest, I don't exactly have a load of cash right now.
I'm not really sure exactly what to offer because I don't know really any of the games he has. He said he would consider selling just some of the carts for around 1 - 5 bucks a piece.
What I don't get is at an average $3 per cart, for all of them it would cost $270. At $400 for the entire thing, I can't see a top loader, a power pad and 3 zappers being worth 130 bucks combined.
Can anyone give me some advice on what to offer for all this? Is this really worth it?

$400 sounds good to me!

Listen, here's what I'm willing to offer...
In this situation I would go and take a look at what he has and then either pick and choose or just make an offer on what you see for everything. If he gets curious as to why you're opting out of taking particular games, just tell him that you already have a lot of them. Never ever mention the notion that you are going to resell anything, make it seem like you are looking for the games to play as a cheap alternative to the new games they are coming out with nowadays.
