NES Starter Kit

This isn't anything special, it's just a starter kit for someone wanting an NES with some games.  Good to play or as a gift.  As far as I can tell, the 72-pin connector hasn't been replaced, however, it played all the games fine (except I had to blow into Golf).

Standard power supply
2 NES Controllers

Games Included:
Super Mario Bros./Duck Hunt
Tetris
Golf
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

  • Hahaha! Robin would laugh at this.
  • ^Probably. The 31k top score was the first game I played. I was pretty proud to get 94 lines out of the box.
  • Thanks for the bid. I guess this package will go cheaper than what I thought. Good luck!
  • Don't think I ain't watchin it mate image
  • Not that it's a bad deal but it doesn't seem to be many "starters" here. GL with the auction either way.
  • Yeah. I figured that I would try and catch one of the new members. Or someone can use it for resale or something.
  • Yeah that's a hell of a deal if someone needs a new deck or a replacement for sure. My old 'test unit' from the 1985 run of systems is getting a bit flaky and over the weekend I got a late model 'old' style NES with 15 games and 4 game pads for $70. Seeing this at $35 as a buy it now or going for less is a nice price.
  • Winner is puffman for $15.50!
  • Nice, hell of a deal.
  • Jeff, I'll have another starter kit for sale if you're interested in one. It'll be my last starter kit.
  • Oh no it's ok. I'd kill for it if I had better timing and signed up instead of dwelling on this site a week ago. Last weekend I picked up a 'starter kit' PLUS of sorts. It set me back $70 but I ended up with a late old model NES, 4 game pads, wires, boxed up copies of Tetris(complete) and Paperboy(no book), but also 3D World Runner(w/book), Archon(w/book), Battle Chess(w/book), Bubble Bobble(w/book), Final Fantasy, Pac-Man, Rollerball (w/book), Top Gun, Little Nemo the Dreammaster, Rad Racer (w/book), Bart vs the World, Super C, and SMB/Duck Hunt. I think I did alright. My old NES from 1985 has been getting testy as of late so I went for a second one to play it safe.
