Cool, thanks for the headup Qix

  • Awesome! I'm looking forward to this! Closest thing we will have to an "official" box!

I'm thinking about that Sivak branded cart sleeve too. Wouldn't be tough to create a template and use some red spray paint. However, I don't feel right making my own stuff for homebrew release. The beauty of this one is that a good chunk of people will all have the same box.
  • If you make any custom sleeves, I'd buy one Levi, homebrew is all custom anyway

Cool Qix, can't wait, I happened to buy an LE, but I still want this box for my loose 1.0 copy I have : )

  • It would be pretty awesome to get a box for my Battle Kid cart image I would pay for it, depending on how much it would cost.
  • My Battle Kid Cart needs a home image
  • Yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

If and when this box thing goes down, I just might give it a go.  If I do, and it turns out nice, I wouldn't want to take any $$ for it.  Probably just a donor sleeve and a couple bucks for shipping.  We'll see though, I'd have to make one for myself to make sure it wouldn't suck before offering to do it for others!  I'm mostly concerned about the longevity.  I have some clear coat stuff I could spray over it.  I just have a feeling red spray paint would peel or flake off pretty quickly by itself.
  • I'd be in for a box if its priced within reason. I think it would be great to have.
  • Give em $10 boxes or give me death!!!.. cmon Tusk seriously. I finally have my cart.. it needs a home.
  • I would go for a box for like 10 dollars. The boxes aren't a huge deal for me but if they are ever made, I will get one at a resonable price.
  • I can't wait for these boxes to come out. It's going to be so sexy. Games need homes!
  • Ugggh, gimme my BK box!
  • Nice!!! Can't wait.....
  • Interesting... I only poke my head in the brewery every once in a while. I voted maybe, but I would like to see this get done. Very cool.
  • no, as it will devalue my LE!

edit: okay, it won't really. I just feel like someone with an LE should be an elitist! image i like the idea of the box and not the hard shell, as that would clearly separate the releases.
  • Who needs a box when the cart is always in the NES anyways?

Maybe for Battle Kid 2, he could have a hard case made for the LE's and a regular box as an option for the standard carts!  At this rate, I'm willing to bet that if they had around 250 made, they would eventually sell them out.  And at the price they could make them at in bulk, they wouldn't have to sell all of them to make profit on the boxes.

I still agree with his decision to ship a cart and manual, as the high prices of these other CIB releases totally turn me off to them.  $60 is just too much for me right now for just one NES game.  But if we had the option, the people who really wanted one could have one.

Wow dude, got enough for the rest of the class? I'm not a fan of short boxes (although yours looks nice for what it is). That normal sized box, though... That's PERFECT
  • I made the bigger box and "Kreese" made the smaller box. Mine looks OK, although I think the shorter one is more professional. I really didnt know what I was doing, so some of the really small print is alittle blurry. I printed them out on 80lb paper and they look good. It costs about $2 each to print at any local printer. I am heading to CGE, but if anyone want a copy of the bigger box, PM me your email address and when I get back from Vegas, I will respond.
  • Finally I finished my BK Box, too.

Now i´ll run to my local photocopy shop and will print this baby.

  • I haven't found a place that can print on paperboard yet. So I'm still relying on you guys to make me a box >: )
  • I would still like to buy a box. No joke here. I'll pay 40 bucks if need be.
  • Me too, hopefully Qix can give us an update, I thought his was almost done
  • Where are we at on Boxes? I just got this game and would love to get a box for it

  • Good god you guys failed.
