If rarities seem "off," POST THEM HERE
Hi guys!
So DP has a thread with the same title that seems to have done quiet a bit of good when it comes to ironing out some issues with their rarity guide. Seeing as our community is smaller and have a smaller focus, i thought this could really work well here.
In the past we could PM an admin, but if there's a discussion thread it will help eliminate discrepancies.
If people are totally against this idea I'd understand. in that case a mod/admin can lock this up. I wouldn't mind giving it a shot though!
First one on the block:

Super Mario Bros. II Asian region.
In the rarity guide it states that "It is still unknown whether or not this is a pirate." Having seen the pcb and read the discussions on the game, I can say with out a doubt that this game is indeed a pirate cart. It has a third party PCB and EPROMs present, and it's also a commonly pirated game.
And: Discuss!

Database has it as an R1. Should be at least an R6-R7 Box / manual, maybe a little bit less on cart.
Database also has Wild Guns R6, that's more of an R8. It sure as hell sells for R8 prices whenever it does turn up.
Good eye Jone, Sunset Riders should be higher but I don't think R6 or R7. Not that tough to find but, gets a nice bit of change since it's a good game.
Wild Guns, I agree.
I looked through and noticed a few others that I think are off:
Super Buster Bros. - should be about an R5 or R6
Hagane - Should be R8. Only one I ever see is SFC version.
Super Turrican II - should be higher to an R8 or R9. Super tough to find.
Captain Commando - should be higher (R8)- box and manual are bitches.
Mega Man X3 - should be lower.
I still think Sunset rider is at least an R6 from a CIB perspective, like I said the cart could be R3-R4. I've been looking for a CIB in nice shape under $70 for a year now with no luck.
Agreed on Hagane as well, I think I've only seen one or two boxes with that title all year. Don't really follow Turrican that much, and only know that Capt Commando is a bitch because of WrldStgMan. It was one of the last he needed, but I have seen at least 3 CIBs of it this year. Actually, maybe 2 CIBs and one CB.

I'd be conservative and give it an R8 for sure though (box/man only, cart is much less). Much harder to find than the current R6 indicates.
nevermind
