A while back I wrote about my friend gifting me a motherload of systems and games.

I wanted to thank him so I got a case of beer and made plans to hang out.
I decided to take a game system over so we could drink and play. I couldn't decide between the NES and SNES so I took both over with fully loaded Powerpaks for each.
When my wife and I arrived there were about 7 others all hanging out and getting thier drink on. They were really jazzed about the systems and when i told them i had every game on the magical red carts they were even more into it.
We spent the whole night switching back n forth between the systems and all taking turns calling out for games and playing.
Racing Games are usualy a hit with a bunch of people so we started there. We played snes micro machines, super mario Kart, Rock And Roll racing.
Then came the cry for CONTRA!
Konami codes were tried and failed. I found it amazing how much these people remebered about the games after not playing them for 15 years or more.
Nearing the end of the night it was Time for Megaman. One guy played 4 and then my friend Seth who gifted all the stuff to me wanted to play MM3 because he had it back in the day. He was so into it. It was awesome seeing people so happy with the old games.
Seth told us that he was offered a Full time job out west delivering the Mail. He will be leaving in a month or so. He is just going to take out a small car load so he wanted to unload some more stuff.
He brings down not 1 but 2 drum kits for the xbox 360 (1 rockband and 1 Guitar hero). 3 guitar hero wireless guitars and 1 rockband 360 guitar. Then he gives me (for the 360) the games rockband, guitar hero 3, 5, Metallica, aerosmith, and world tour.
WOW Again!!
He has decided to get a ps3 instead of replacing the 360 and is just that nice of a guy!
I'm going to drop off an Nes system this week to him with Mega man three and some other games for him to play.
Everyone raved before heading out how much fun they had.
What are your Nes Snes related Party stories?
