  • I believe cradelit has either a SMB or a Zelda record on vinyl. Can't remember which off the top of my head, but he posted about it once.
  • I've an old Buckner & Garcia Pac-Man Fever vinyl somewhere around here...
  • really thats awesome.
  • Damn, I'd love to have any of those! It's a combination of the 2 things i love to collect most
  • anyone who likes rap, break beats and vinyl. will enjoy Video Game Breaks. it was released in a limited pressing on vinyl illegally of coarse like all break beat records r. just cause the samples are never clearer because they r released in small batches by independant companies for dj's who don't complain. it's also on DVD for you digital dj'ers who use Serato Scratch / Itch, Traktor, Virtual DJ w there vinyl turntable setups. I got both of them, but the DVD version has more songs / breaks from games on it. It's hard to find cause GOOD break records r very sought after. The whole series Yosumi Records make are great n thick vinyl, great for sampling or routines.

Pac-Man Fever and that whole album is catchy.

i bumped into Megan Ran this past year who raps about video games. like em or dislike em, brings Mega Man back in style. look him up.

  • My Pac-Man Fever is framed and hanging on the wall. Best 5 bucks I ever spent...horrible music though

12 inch single or full lp?
  • I have the Pac-Man fever LP as well.

As far as other game-related vinyl goes, I know that 8-bit Operators put out a few 12"'s and LPs and there are probably a few other chiptune artists who put out stuff on vinyl. As far as game soundtracks go, I have heard of some Japanese stuff being released but unfortunately, I know of no specifics.
  • They had freaking orchestras in Japan during the famicom hey day. I'd be AMAZED if no vinyl was ever produced.
