problems with sending messages

didnt know where to post this, but i guess this is the best spot. for some reason when i try to send a pm, i am able to open a message window, but then im unable to click on the message window. a cursor just doesnt appear in there. i tried clearing out some old msgs from my inbox, but that didnt seem to work either. does anybody else have this problem, or do any mods know of a solution? i even clicked on 'send transaction of this message to see if that would work but no dice.

    WHat web browser are you using?

    What operating system?



    Have you tried clearing browser cache and cookies?

    Same thing happened to me last week, Paul helped me fix it - the problem was the cache needed to be cleared.

    hm, so i guess i should get atfcleaner on this machine and just run that regularly. im using firefox 3.6.11, win xp home edition i believe..im not on my own machine because im visiting my girl in sweden.



    at home i use atfcleaner for this sort of stuff because it cleans a bunch of different things at once and its just a simple program, but because this browser is all in swedish and i dont know enough of the language yet, finding out how to clean the browser cache is a lil tough, ahah. i did just ask her to clear cookies and that didnt work though.

    just ran atfcleaner and deleted history and cookies and still a no go image...

    hm...i rebooted the whole shebang, didnt work still. but then i changed the font size, and it works again. i didnt know if this was a problem others were having but it seems like if all else fails, you can change the font and it'll work.

    seems like that fix doesnt worked only once and now it wont let me write messages again..

    Edit: are you using any browser plug-ins, like ad-block?

    Edit #2: if so, try temporarily disabling them and see if that helps.

    disabled adblock, no dice. it works with IE, but not with firefox..wish i could read swedish so that i could navigate the stuff a little easier but it looks like its kosher now but disabling that and clearing cookies didnt work so im sort of at a loss of what to do :\

    ive been having the problem of not being able to type, what i did was clicked the line format button and it works 100%, you know, if you want it right, center or left aligned? image
