Ehrgeiz - PSX or The Bouncer - PS2? gamers opinions (not mine)

what does everyone think of this fighter / beat em up?  which one is better iyo

I've played both when I was younger. PS1 / PS2 were my first consoles, but I had played games since Atari from family n friends places who had those consoles.  I rented the games and didn't know what to expect. I tried both cause of who made them, after playing Chrono Trigger and FF7 I thought they could tackle another genre.  Both seems sluggish.

    I got The Bouncer when it first came out and I thought it was decent despite the sucky reviews at the time. I say it's worth it if you can find it cheaply just don't expect the second coming of Double Dragon.

    I loved ehrgeiz just for the dungeon mode.



    Dungeon mode is TONS of fun!

    Yeah, I remember being pissed that I didn't rent it instead. I think I still have a copy of Erhgeiz kicking around somewhere over at my dad's house. I don't really remember much about it other than my friend leaving it behind with a bunch of his other shit before he moved to Ohio.

    they didn't get good reviews but i mean those are also opinions. n there r a bunch of under rated classics out there from day one.

    Dungeon Mode in Ehrgeiz is amazing, and the fighting simulator in it is decent.

    I haven't played Ehrgeiz but I've played The Bouncer. Its got some ragdoll physics but there is multiple endings depending on who you select. If I remember correctly, its been awhile.

    The dungeon mode in that game is a lot like Darkstone, one of my favorite dungeon crawlers.
